Studio Veya was founded by Kara Knight, a multi-disciplinary designer with a background in retail, product curation, and design-led business.

Kara began her career in London, working with major UK home and lifestyle retailers — an experience that shaped her commercially grounded, highly practical approach to interiors. Her work is driven by the belief that good design must balance beauty with function, budgets, and real-world living.

With over a decade of experience across retail and lifestyle, Kara brings a strategic, detail-focused perspective to every project. She has spent the past three years managing renovation and interior projects in both London and Cape Town, guiding spaces from early concept through to completion.
