Studio Veya was founded by Kara Knight, a multi-disciplinary property and design specialist with a background spanning retail, product curation, and design-led business.

Kara began her career in London, working with major UK home and lifestyle retailers — an experience that shaped her commercially grounded and highly practical approach to residential projects. Her perspective is rooted in the belief that successful spaces must balance aesthetics with functionality, budgets, and long-term value.

With over a decade of experience across retail and lifestyle, Kara brings a strategic, detail-driven lens to every project. She has spent the past several years managing renovation and property-focused projects in both London and Cape Town, guiding homes from early planning and spatial decisions through to execution and completion.
